Evaluation of Fort Worth Epoxy System.
Abstract
The silicone based paint formulation used on the booster section of the Atlas Missile has exhibited some undesirable characteristics, such as discoloration, peeling and blistering, during handling and cleaning procedures. A suitable replacement is being sought, and Convair-Fort Worth has developed several aluminized epoxy paint formulations for this purpose. (Author)
