Sundstrand Model 876 APU Part I: (Cryogenic Fluids).

Abstract

A series of resistance temperature probes for operation in a high temperature hydrogen environment was tested. A method of measuring hydrogen and oxygen flow (cryogenic liquid to warm gas) was developed. An extensive study of the literature was conducted, and a correlation between test data and theory was developed and used to optimize a multiple pass single disc axial flow impulse turbine for a range of operating conditions. An annotated bibliography is included. (Author)
