Condition of Sustainer Engine Propulsion Control Valves During Operation of Hydraulic Pumping Unit,

Abstract

The object was to determine if any of the sustainer engine propulsion control valves on the MA-3 sustainer engine will open under unusual or accidental conditions of the sustainer engine control package, after fill and bleed of the sustainer propulsion control hydraulic system. Secondly to determine if the H.S. valve return line acts as a by-pass of the check valve in the return inlet of the MA-3 sustainer hydraulic control package; thus substantiating the first object.
