Nature of the Extremely Feeble Glow of Irradiated Solutions of Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA),

Abstract

Evidence is presented that the glow of irradiated DNA solutions represents a chemiluminescence of a free-radical nature which is conditioned by the presence of hydroperoxide DNA compounds in the system.
