Range Safety Trajectory and Dispersion Information for the Atlas-Centaur Vehicle No. 1,

Abstract

The range safety section of the Atlantic Missile Range at Cape Canaveral, Florida requires certain data for each flight in order to establish range safety criteria. The required data include the following: Reference, fast, slow, and nose right dispersion trajectories; Impact areas for the booster package and sustainer tank sections; Impact areas and remaining time of flight for premature cutoff times; Maximum turning rate of the missile velocity vector in pitch and yaw; The effects of destruct action; and Drag data for re-entry bodies.
