Adaptation of Xenon-Discharge Lamp to Solid-State Lasers,

Abstract

The optimum adaptation of xenon discharge lamps to solid-body lasers was investigated theoretically with the aim of achieving maximum efficiency in light emission utilization. Experiments were performed to verify the findings of the theoretical considerations. It was found that in the energy-density range investigated the primarily emitted light energy is proportional to the input energy. (Author)
