Catalytic Effects on the Luminescence of 3-Aminophthalhydrazide by Hemins and Hemin Derivatives

Abstract

This report considers some of the catalytic effects of Hemins on the luminescence of 3-aminophthalhydrazide. The effects studied were hydrogen ion concentration and temperature. Other studies included an objective measurement of the luminescence intensity, the activation of the hemins, the catalysis by salicylaldehyde-ethylene diamine iron (III) chloride, and the luminescence extinction by pyridine.
