Development of Hybrid Computer Programs for AAFSS/COBRA/COIN Weapons Effectiveness Studies. Vol. 2. Simulation of Weapons and Target.

Abstract

Analog, digital, and hybrid computer programs are described. These programs are used to simulate the weapons systems used on helicopters and airplanes. The analog and hybrid programs simulate the weapon carried aboard the aircraft, and the digital program provides a simulated target and impact point mixed in with the visual system television signal. A method used to set up the hybrid program using a digital computer is described. (Author)
