Block File System Study and Implementation.

Abstract

The Block File System is the file handling system for the Integrated Information Processing System (INTIPS). The system is designed to free users from concerns such as what storage devices are on the system and where on these storage devices their programs and data are located. It also allows them to build complex data structures which can be accessed symbolically. This report describes the original goals and the current status of the Block File System. (Author)
