Tailored Response Microwave Filter for Wide-Bandwidth Systems.

Abstract

An investigation of radar techniques for the generation, radiation, and processing of large bandwidth signals has led to the development of a type of multiple-section filter. The filter is capable of being accurately tailored to special frequency response requirements over wide bandwidths. This technique is recommended for wide-bandwidth microwave systems, for phase and amplitude weighting, and for equalization functions. (Author)
