A Literature Review and Discussion of Liquid Particle Breakup in Gas Streams

Abstract

The literature relating to droplet breakup in gas streams moving with relative velocity to the particles has been surveyed and reviewed. This report contains a brief discussion of breakup mechanisms followed by an annotated bibliography of the pertinent references. Included also is a general list of references giving background to the subject.
