The Turbo Helicopter Built by the WSK at Swidnik (Poland). Further Steps in the Development of Aviation Techniques in Poland.

Abstract

Representatives of the Air Force Command and the Ministry of Heavy Industry attended the first flight of a new turbine-driven helicopter built in Poland. It was based on the project of the Soviet constructor Prof. Mikhail Mil' Technical processes unknown in Poland were applied for the first time by the Transportation Equipment Plant in Swidnik, where extensive research has been undertaken to develop this and future aircraft. The new helicopter is fully equipped with radio-navigational and technical-exploitation devices. (Author)
