Proposed Military Specification Standard Aircraft Weapons Monitor and Release Control System (Sawmarcs).

Abstract

This proposed specification was developed to meet the need for a guide for weapon control system designers and to promote standardization of airborne weapon monitor, control and release techniques. The proposed specification defines the design criteria for a solid state, stores monitor, control and release system that will accept signals from, and transmit signals to integral manual control panels, the weapon delivery computer, weapon status and monitoring equipment, stores auxiliary equipment, stores release devices, and data link transmitter to provide a coordinated release of any selected stores loaded on Navy attack type aircraft.
