Real Ear Evaluation of the Willson Sound Silencer Ear Plug,

Abstract

The Willson Sound Silencer, V-51R, and Comfit ear plugs were tested by a modified free field threshold shift method. The Willson plug attenuated significantly better than the other two and was judged to be more comfortable. The Willson plug was recommended for consideration as a medical standard item. (Author)
