Reconstruction of Phototheodolite-Camera Stations in Taking Repeated Photorecords,

Abstract

A method is described for finding the unknown camera station of a present mapping photo. This method is based on the comparison of directions, measured in the field, which are aimed at salient points, with the corresponding directions taken from the present mapping photo. The station is determined in a step-by-step approach. The method has been applied to reascertain stations for carrying out time bases measurements. (Author)
