Effects of Surface Reflections on Shock Wave Impulse

Abstract

The effects of 'surface cut-off' on shock wave impulse from an underwater explosion are discussed. An equation for shock wave 'partial impulse, ' which takes into account the effects of surface cut-off, is discussed and a computer program that generates contours of constant partial impulse is described.
