Abstract
The purposes of these tests were: to isolate the cause for recent seal failures, to evaluate the sealing capabilities of two pump shaft seal configurations, to determine the spring pre-load that is most compatible with seal wear, and to determine the torque required to turn the pump shaft. (Author)
