Abstract

The object of this test was to determine the suitablity of the GD/A designed and fabricated split ring clamp as a replacement for the Marman J-11 coupling clamp. The fatigue properties of the split ring clamp and its ability to seal the Marman J-11 tube coupling under misaligned conditions was to be evaluated. (Author)
