Electronic Equipment Cooling by Simultaneous Heat and Mass Transfer,

Abstract

The high speeds and high altitudes at which advanced designs of military aircraft fly preclude the use of (high temperature, low density) air alone as a coolant. However, the simultaneous heat and mass transfer cooling system is considered to be a means of allowing the use of high temperature and low density air. Some of the important design characteristics and advantages of this cooling system are given. (Author)
