Review of Experimental Methods of Investigation of Electron Beams,

Abstract

The paper identifies and briefly describes the experimental methods most frequently used in studying the statistics of electron beams. The methods of determining those beam parameters which are of fundamental importance in microwave electron tube applications are discussed. The discussion is primarily concerned with the determination of electron velocity and current density distributions in the cross-section of the beam. (Author)
