Optimum Test Specification.

Abstract

The report resolves some of the problems resulting from existing methods of test specification. A technique of test specification is developed which minimizes expected cost over the life of the equipment. This technique enables a test specification which reflects, quantitatively, fiscal considerations, existing knowledge about the equipment, and the time in the program when a test specification is made or changed.
