Signal Processing Studies and Analysis. Volume IV. Three Dimensional Electromagnetic Short Pulse Inverse Scattering.

Abstract

The short pulse electromagnetic inverse scattering problem for arbitrarily shaped three dimensional scatterers (targets) is treated in this paper. The application of the solution(s) presented being the high resolution (short pulse) radar data processing for the purpose of determining the size and shape of a target (vis-a-vis the position and velocity of a target in the conventional radar system).
