Basic Research in Thermionic Energy Conversion.

Abstract

The report presents the results of the past year's work in a continuing program to investigate basic processes in thermionic energy conversion. The subjects discussed are: Theoretical considerations of the ignited mode; Spacing effect in the ignited mode; Ignited mode theory neglecting recombination; Multistage ionization-recombination theory; Thermionic research at Stresa (A review).
