Measurement of the Time Base Stability of the Ampex Fr-950 Video Tape Recorder.

Abstract

The report describes the method that was devised to measure the time-base stability of the recorder. The specifications called for the unit to have a maximum time displacement error of plus or minus 25 nanoseconds between pulses spaced 0.2 seconds apart. (Author)
