On the Design of a 'Stereotrigomat' Universal Map-Plotting System,

Abstract

With the Stereotrigomat system, a universal evaluation equipment for photogrammetrical mapping photograms has been created which permits the unlimited application of photogrammetric cameras with extremely long focal length and using super wide angle techniques. By simultaneous situation evaluation with the aid of orthophotoscopy and relief evaluation through contour-line recording (orography), the efficiency of the photogrammetric evaluation, as compared to conventional equipment systems, is considered to be markedly increased.
