A Compact High Repetition Rate Energy Storage System.

Abstract

The technical objectives of the program were the following: (1) To design and build an energy storage system which made use of a superconducting coil as the energy storage element; (2) To demonstrate the efficient operation of this system with both linear and non-linear resistive loads; and (3) To perform the analytical work needed to establish an understanding of the system operation.
