Contributions to the Quantitative Analysis of Ergot Alkaloids

Abstract

Discussed are the extraction of the ergot alkaloids from a drug and purification of the drug extract and the quantitative separation of ergot alkaloids into ergotamine and ergobasine groups by means of paper chromatography.
