Investigation of the Rot-Resistant Properties of Phosphorus-Containing PVA Fibers,

Abstract

The resistance of phosphorus-containing fibers to the effect of microorganisms is investigated for the case where the fibers are produced by the treatment of PVA fibers with trichloroethyl phosphite and phosphoric acid. Two types of fibers are examined: those containing phosphorus and chlorine simultaneously, and those which contain only phosphorus. (Author)
