Functional Characteristics of Fluid Ejecting Models.

Abstract

Various quenching experiments were performed using models that eject fluid into the wake during a hypervelocity flight. Scaled free-flight models were used to study factors that affect gas and liquid fluid ejection rates. Experimental techniques and flow calibration procedures used in the study are included. (Author)
