Abstract
An Integrated Engineering and Service Test of Durable Press Uniform (Wash and Wear) for Drill Sergeants was conducted during the period July - November 1968 to determine suitability of the polyester/rayon summer uniform for use by drill sergeants as a replacement for currently authorized Army tan uniforms. It was concluded that the durable press uniform (wash and wear) for drill sergeants meets all the established test criteria except for the shortcomings listed and is nontoxic and nonhazardous to personnel and safe for Army use.
