Effect of the Mineral Oil Component on the Properties of Lubricating Greases,

Abstract

Mineral oil components were obtained from paraffinic (Dolni Dubnik) and naphthenic-aromatic (Tyulenovo) petroleums. The physicochemical properties and the chemical group composition of the distillates and oils obtained by various methods were studied. A wide range of products differing substantially in their characteristics and their chemical group composition was obtained. These products lend themselves in a very suitable way to the study of the effect of the mineral oil component on the properties of the lubricating greases. (Author)
