Abstract

When the density is known, two additional parameters are required for the determination of molecular weight, e.g. the viscosity factor and the sedimentation constant. By utilizing these two parameters, Gierer has established the molecular weight of infectious ribonucleic acid (RNA) from tobacco mosaic virus (TMV).
