Research in Amphibious Warfare for the U. S. Marine Corps of the Future: A Bibliography.

Abstract

Research projects conducted by the Naval Warfare Research Center for the Marine Corps are described. The format provides for information, within the unclassified security limitation of the publication, in the following categories: title, project number, study dates, objectives of study, scope of study, summary of study, conclusion areas, and study reports and publications. The projects for the Marine Corps are grouped in sections under the headings described in the Foreword as the components of amphibious warfare. These are Logistics, Mobility, Firepower, and Command and Control. A separate section is provided to identify several studies conducted for the U. S. Navy relating directly to amphibious warfare.
