Prediction Routines Studies. Volume I. Sample Problems and Frequency Band Analysis.
Abstract
The report presents the results of an effort devoted to updating the RADC interference prediction program (IPP-1). The work consisted of exercising the IPP-1 with various types of interference sample problems and training RADC personnel in the use of data input and computer control needed to implement the computer program. As a result of this investigation, a computer program was developed for predicting the interference between equipments where specific operating frequency assignments are not available. The program is designed to evaluate the interference conditions on the basis of a band of frequencies associated with each equipment. All of the necessary information required to operate the program, including logic flow diagrams, is presented. Further, the program may be operated independently or in conjunction with the IPP-1. Several sample interference problems with computerized solutions are presented. A training program for the IPP-1 is also described in this report. (Author)
