Predication Routine Studies. Volume II. Intermodulation Analysis.

Abstract

Interference produced through the process of radio frequency intermodulation may significantly degrade the performance of communication receivers. Consequently, a comprehensive interference prediction process should include intermodulation effects. This report presents a series of computer programs which provide intermodulation prediction capability for the IPP-1 interference prediction process currently in use by the Rome Air Development Center. The major topics presented in this report deal with: (1) environmental culling techniques (2) intermodulation model development and (3) data reduction methods for providing empirical inputs.
