Resistance and Control of Submerged Bodies: An Annotated Bibliography,

Abstract

The annotated bibliography concerns the aerodynamic or hydrodynamic phenomena associated with the movement and control of elongated bodies, such as airships and submarines, in a fluid medium. References present theoretical and experimental information relating to the behavior of such bodies, and to the design parameters which affect their drag, stability and control characteristics. References containing information and data useful to the optimum design of low-aspect-ratio lifting surfaces are also included. (Author)
