A Study to Improve the Low Level Meteorological Simulator, Volume I.

Abstract

Investigation for feasible modification of the exchange coefficient relationship of the Low Level Meteorological Model has yielded a possible solution which is reviewed herein. This solution, based on the Deacon wind profile function, applies to all stability regimes. A program for machine processing of standard meteorological data to provide a suitable input format for the Low Level Meteorological Model has been completed. This program is quite general in the sense that data may be supplied to it in any of the commonly used units of measure, at any heights below 1 km up to a total number of twelve levels, and at any geographical location.
