Review of Instrumentation for Centaur Fuel Tank Boil-Off and Vent Quality Measurements

Abstract

It is important to determine the total quantity of hydrogen which will be vented from the fuel tank during the parking orbit transfer ellipse of a Centaur mission. The vented fluid represents payload loss and, therefore, reduction of performance.
