Anthrax. Biological and Immunological Foundations of Diagnostic and Prophylaxis. 1. Production and Experimental Investigation of Anthrax Allergen

Abstract

The data contained in this report confirms the independence of the immune-biologic effect in the organism from the consideration whether or not the anthrax pathogen has a capsule; the closest approach to reality should be represented by this observation: The less virulent the anthrax strain which causes swellings, the more distinct is its ability to form protective antigen and the allergen related to this effect in the living organism.
