Method of Calculating Dual-Rotor Compressors for Ducted-Fan Engines,

Abstract

Theoretical foundations for the choice of parameters and some practical suggestions for the calculation of a two-rotor axial compressor of a ducted-fan jet engine are given. A front-fan engine is considered. The method of optimum division of the mechanical energy between the inner and the outer air streams is presented. This method can be used for determining the basic parameters of the fan. (Author)
