Possibilities of Coupling the ZRA 1 Digital Computer with Analog Computers,

Abstract

The ZRA 1 digital computer was modified for a direct coupling with analog computers for use in conjunction with adaptive control systems and hybrid computers. The system includes a conventional D/A converter with a conversion rate of approximately 6 msec. An electronic clock performs the functions of a differential transmitter. Starting of the clock can activate the computer. A start-stop control is included in the system.
