Calculation of Spectral Analysis Functions Using a Fast Fourier Analysis Program,

Abstract

The equations used in a classical spectral analysis program are converted to the forms necessary for use with the Fast Fourier Transform Analysis (FFTA) algorithm. An FFTA program is presented with some details given on how the subroutines calculate the equations. The Spectral Density, Integrated Spectral Density, and Autocorrelation functions are evaluated and graphed by the program with output on the line printer. A program listing, flow charts, and sample output are included. (Author)
