Interaction in Spatially Nonuniform Beam-Plasma Systems.

Abstract

The report covers the investigation into the possibility of developing closed-form solutions for beam-plasma interaction systems which are nonuniform in the axial direction. Expressions for the propagation constants are developed for a variety of beam and plasma parameters. Numerical computations of system gain are made. In addition, system gain is discussed. (Author)
