Dynamic Evaluation of Soil Stress Gages.

Abstract

A group of existing soil stress gages was evaluated for use in dynamic field tests. The gages, of thin-disk or diaphragm design and column gage design were calibrated hydrostatically, tested statically and dynamically in soil and used in miniature field tests. (Author)
