Initial Production Test of Modified Crane, 5-Ton, Rough Terrain, Contract No. DA-23-195-AMC-00529(T).

Abstract

The objectives of the test were to determine: if the modified crane is suitable for troop use and the adequacy of the test item and the maintenance publications containing operating and maintenance instructions. Three units were tested for an average of 76.6 and 615.3 test hours and miles, respectively. Testing was conducted from June to September 1968, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, using personnel qualified in MOS 62B and 62F.
