Two-Terminal Connected MHD Generators with Liquid and Solid Fuels

Abstract

Three DCW (diagonal conducting wall) generators with side wall angles of 45, 60 and 90 deg (Hall) of the same physical dimensions are studied. Two different types of fuels are used to drive the generator, liquid fuel consisting of RPI, gaseous oxygen and potassium hydroxide dissolved in alcohol, and double based solid fuel with heavy potassium loading.
