Radar Backscattering Data for Agricultural Surfaces.

Abstract

Measurements of the normalized backscattering cross sections of a number of agricultural surfaces are reported for microwave frequencies of 1.8, 10, 15, and 35 GHz. The surfaces include wheat oats, soybeans, sudan grass, corn, alfalfa, and sorghum. Ground truth data including, for instance, surface location, crop variety and moisture, soil moisture, etc. are provided for most surfaces. (Author)
