Initial Production Test of Pump, Centrifugal, 600-GPM

Abstract

The test item is a centrifugal, single-stage, integral self-priming water pump. The item is wheel-mounted, provided with a military standard gasoline engine, and has a rated capacity of 600 GPM. The initial production test was conducted by U. S. Army General Equipment Test Activity at Fort Lee, Va., and Fort Story, Va., during the period 21 August 1968 through 20 January 1969. It is concluded that: The pump, centrifugal, 600-GPM is suitable for issue; The item is adequately maintainable and reliable.
