Problems of Digital Data Storage in Systems for Pattern Recognition,

Abstract

Trends in the development of equipment for pattern recognition are explained. The problems of the perceptor and of solutions which demand a large capacity memory, as well as circuits of housing the conditional answer are stated. Short description of a solution representing a compromise between two extreme approaches to the problem is given. The advantages of both approaches are thus obtained.
