A Fluidic Interface Module.

Abstract

The fluidic interface module is a flueric device which provides an interface between a low-level pneumatic input signal and a high-level pneumatic output pressure signal for operation with a piston actuator load. Both analog and digital versions were investigated. Static and dynamic operating characteristics of each stage and of the total unit are presented. The maximum supply pressure to the final stage vortex pressure amplifiers was 750 psia and the maximum input pressure signal was +2 or -2 psi. (Author)
